Step 1: Create the connection

Click on "Data Sources" at the top left of your screen.

Once you've done that, you will arrive at the "Connections" sections. Here we can access the list of connections we have already made and we can also create new ones. To create a new connection, click the blue button "Add new connection."

This button will redirect us to another screen in which all the possible connections that can be made with the tool are listed. There we will select, as an example, the option "Postgres".

Step 2: Name the connection and enter credentials

After clicking on continue, on the next screen we will have to name the connection.

This step is essential because it will create the request for the connection to an external service. After formulating the name, we click "Continue".

Step 3: Test the connection

Some types of tests are required, so the screen will show a progress status: “Checking and verifying connection”.

When the tests are finished, it will show us the results of the connection.

These tests were done to verify that the connection is established. If there are errors, the ones that did not work will be listed for identification for you to try again.

Once all the tests have been successful, the list will be completely green and you can continue.

Step 4: Set up and complete the connection

On the next screen there are two sections. The superior expresses the state in which the connection attempt is found. For this reason, we can read "Syncing data and historical ...".
